Tricon Industries Expands Technical Center and Headquarters

Lisle, IL – Tricon Industries announces the addition of 6,500 square feet to its Technical Center and Headquarters in Lisle, Illinois. The additional space will accommodate an expanded engineering and product development group and other support staff for higher business levels.

Pat Grandle, Marketing Manager of Tricon Industries reports, "The new space and engineering resources allow us to continue as a leader in providing design support and quality assurance for new and difficult to mold applications. We are adding more CAD software and workstations that allow us to directly interface with customer part designs in their native file format. Additional CAD capacity allows us to create more detailed concept proposals and accelerates the process of converting concepts to molds once the proposal is completed. Our quality assurance group will also expand their testing and analysis resources."

Tricon has recently expanded its CAD capability with the addition of Catia. This supplements the workstations of Unigraphics, Solid Edge, and AutoCAD currently used at Tricon.
