Additional Tricon Backplate Designs
Backplate concepts can have several design characteristics relative to manufacturing concepts. Tricon has provided several different concepts over many years which include insert molded circuits and sockets, double molded stamped circuits and sockets, and circuit systems constructed of stampings that are heat staked to the plastic backplate. Depending upon the application and design requirements, these types of designs are also available. Millions of Tricon socket systems utilizing these technologies have been successfully used in the field for 15 years.
